So lately I've had this crazy craving to dance. Is that weird? I've never been a dancer. I grew up with four brothers, never even did ballet when I was little. I mostly stuck to sports. But some part of me wants to just dance. Maybe I've been watching too much Ellen Degeneres or something? : )
I'm not even sure what kind of dancing. Maybe a little bit of everything. I catch America's Best Dance Crew every once in a while. Now that would be fun dancing. Or even "pretty" dancing with lots of twirls and jumps would be cool. I'm somewhat afraid to look like a fool, but it doesn't hurt to try, right? : )
So, Stephanie Nelson, Dani's little sister said I could come take a class from her. And I just think I'm crazy enough to take her up on it! I'll let you know how it goes: ) I could end up with some hilarious stories to tell or I could actually end up able to dance. As long as I get some sweet moves like this little guy I'll be satisfied!

One night after Emyri was born, I was up late rocking her to sleep and as I rocked her I made up a little lullabye for her. It's one we began to sing to her almost every night and now one she sings with us before she falls alseep. After writing her lullaybe, I decided that I would write each of my children their own lullabye. After Brinley was born I kept trying to come up with her lullabye, but I was having a hard time with it. Until one day this summer while driving home from Bear Lake with both girls asleep in the backseat it just quite easily came to me. Long peaceful drives have always had that "help me figure out things" effect.
So I just wanted to share them with you, and mostly write them down so I would always remember them. If I can talk her into it, maybe I'll record Emyri singing them and post them later, but as for now here are the lyrics. So here they are...the Girls' lullabyes.
Emryi's Lullabye
Be still my baby, be still my baby,
The stars have come to play.
Be still my baby, be still my baby,
The moon will light your face.
So close your eyes And fall asleep.
And I'll hold you close,
And I'll hold you tight,
So be still my baby tonight.
Brinley's Lullabye
Close your eyes, close your eyes,
Rest you're little hand in mine.
May your dreams be full of love.
So close your eyes my little one.
Close your eyes, close your eyes,
Rest in peaceful sleep tonight
My baby, you, I'll always love.
So close your eyes my little one.

No Brainer
Jack and Emyri were having a heck of a good time bouncing they're rubber ball on grandma's sidewalk until it unfortunately bounced into one of her bushes.
They mustn't have been paying attention too well because they couldn't figure out which bush it bounced into.
As they were looking Emyri kept going from bush to bush saying, "Maybe it's in here....Maybe it's in here...."
Chad being his random self jokingly asked, "Hey Emyri, maybe it's in your brain!"
She turned to him with this big grin and exclaimed while chuckling through her words,
"No...I don't have a brain!"
All Jack could do was shake his head and laugh with a look on his face that said, "Oh the immaturity of a three year old! I'm so glad I'm five!"
